WeRtheFuture Interative Events for MMUN Delegates

Share

WeRtheFuture is planning a series of webinars for students 9 – 18 year olds about biodiversity, the environment and our role as global citizens. The format will be regular weekly webinars for about 30-45 minutes with 10 – 15 minute presentations by the specialists with opportunities to ask questions by participants. The numbers will be limited to ensure quality of interactions, but it will also be streamed via facebook so others can benefit from the programme.

This project will unite MMUN delegates with other young people around the world to engage and exchange ideas while planting seeds for a better future. More information on how to join will be available soon.

Art Action Change worked with the Kabakov Foundation to bring the London project of the Ship of Tolerance (Sept-Oct 2019) to fruition. The ship’s sails are stitched together from paintings by hundreds of local schoolchildren from different ethnic and social backgrounds, and will convey a message of tolerance and hope. By participating in the creation of this ship children will learn about respecting different cultures and ideas while appreciating how they differ from their own. In short, through this creative process, they will both demonstrate and gain a vibrant lesson in tolerance.  https://shipoftolerance.org/locations
